Reflecting on the last year.

2015 was a fantastic year for Andrew Brookes Tailoring. It truly warms the heart to see so many people see the real value in bespoke tailoring, and helping them take the first step in their journey. There were many highlights to the year, as we count every single customer who visits our showroom as a personal highlight, but there were a few that really stand out among the rest.

As you’ll know from our previous blogs, we really do relish a challenge at Andrew Brookes Tailoring, and one of our most challenging tasks of the year was creating a bespoke suit for an LA celebrity’s wedding, based off of a 20 minute consultation with a 3 week deadline looming! Of course, everything turned out as we had hoped.

One of our most satisfying projects is helping men look their absolute sharpest on their big day, which is something that we have consistently done for a long time, and look forward to doing for a long time. As well as kitting Ross out for his big day, we had the privilege of working with other big names of the stage and screen. Some were preparing for their upcoming show, whereas others were preparing for the premiere of their new films, such as Billy Boyd. One of the fantastic things about our line of work is that you get to interact with people from all walks of life, everyone on their own journey.

We were lucky enough to meet a very interesting character in the form of Jarrod Dickenson, touring after the release of of his album, 'The Lonesome Traveler'. A real gentleman with a unique fashion sense that fits his vibe to a tee.

The benefit of having such a varied customer base is that our work has a chance to travel all over the globe to make our clients look their best for their upcoming events. We’ve had the privilege to suit them up to attend the Millionaire Chess Challenge held in Las Vegas, the Miss World event in China and everywhere in between.

It’s no secret that we love to work with beautiful tartans and tweed, which we have done plenty of this year, as our suppliers have really come through with some phenomenal specialized designs and fabrics, that we are over moon with.

We cannot wait to see what they have for us to work with in 2016. To finish of this post of reflection, one of our proudest moments of the previous year has got to be holding our own fashion show at Gleneagles, which not only did we thoroughly enjoy, but was also well received.

A final thank you must go out to everyone we have worked with, suppliers, clients and friends. We cannot express in words how much we loved working with you all, and can’t wait to see what 2016 holds in store for us!
